Rosa Colón has been self publishing comics with her friend, Carla Rodríguez, for over ten years in San Juan, Puerto Rico under Soda Pop Comics. She is a sequential artist with an MA in Sequential Art and Design from the University of Brighton, UK and a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.

Colón is a writer as well, and has recently been published in The Nib, Splinter News and the Eisner nominated Puerto Rico Strong: A Comics Anthology Supporting Puerto Rico Disaster by Lion Forge.

Colón is passionate about storytelling; whether in a comic form or fun, colorful, and fashionable illustrations. Her deceptively cute but powerful female characters challenge the viewer from their pastel colored set pieces.
